The album “Return To Paradise” followed too after but only managed No.41 in Australian and did not chart at all in the UK. Sam began writing his second album at the point and released the single “Happiness” in early 2012. Sam provided guest vocals on a number of songs over the next few years which included Basement Jaxx’s “Feelings Gone” (2009) and Dutch DJ’s collaboration with DMC (of Run DMC) “Corrected” in 2010, the same year Sam released an EP entitled “Pink Cloud”. Two further singles were released from the album, “21st Century Life” (Aus No.42, UK No.44) and “Pocket”. It fared less well in his home country where it reached No.23 and made the top ten on the US dance albums chart. The following month he released his self-titled debut album which made the top ten in the UK and gain a Gold certification for sales of 100,000 copies. His follow up “Black And Gold” did and would become a huge hit all over the globe, reaching No.2 in the UK, No.4 in Australia and making No.12 on the US dance chart. He released his debut single “Cottonmouth” in late 2007, but this failed to chart. In 2008 singer Sam Sparro had “Black And Gold”, but what does he have now…? Australian singer Sam Sparro (born Sam Falson in 1982) was signed to Island Records in 2006 and began recording his debut album.
